The federal member wants to harness the electorate’s competitive advantage in agriculture and horticulture, and understand which direction various small businesses are heading in the region.
Through this Ms McGowan said she wants to work with government to improve small businesses in her electorate.
ITO En has one enquiry a week by people who want to grow tea in the North East.
It’s a statistic that has the company planning to produce more green tea and increase its factory size, as it enters into the second decade of operation in the rural city.
The North Wangaratta based business will celebrate its 10th birthday in October and spokesperson Peter Anderson said there were questions they wanted to ask Ms McGowan.
