CHAPMAN Machinery Service is a family owned and operated business servicing South Gippsland for over 30 years with quality brands such as Kubota, Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Valtra and Krone.
Operations manager Cameron Chapman said "On the back of a fun drive day we recently had at the old Leongatha drive-in site, we are very much looking forward to heading out to the Dairy Expo at Korumburra.
"We had our tractor models lined up so our customers could jump in and out of the machines, drive around try out the functionalities, auto steer features and so on.
"The feedback was great, and we will continue doing the drive days yearly offering regular demonstrations with customers throughout the year down at the block.
"The Dairy Expo is a good opportunity to get out and catch up with customers, meet new people and feature some key tractors and machines."
Chapman Machinery's custom-ordered Valtra Q264 (230-305) has just arrived with factory ordered black paint and black rims which makes an impression.
The model features the Fendt Vario transmission which is true continuously variable transmission (CVT) that holds in the hills.
The Valtra is a good alternative to the Fendt and Massey Ferguson Vario models.
"We are looking forward to showing this tractor off, also with demos available," said Cameron.
"The latest model Generation Fendt tractors are well worth jumping in the cab, with its new user-friendly interface which is both flexible and customisable for easy operation providing super quick access to features.
"The team enjoy running through the functions to see the customers reaction," he said.
Cameron also highlighted the ability of Kubota’s RTVs to withstand tough farm duties.
These will be on display at the Dairy Expo.
“It’s quite a heavy-duty build as far as the suspension, and can take a fair beating,” Cameron said.
"We will try and get a good mix of machines down there from Krone balers to Kubota compact tractors, to the many feed-out tractors we offer.
"Let’s see what we can fit on the site."
