A DRIVER has died after an early morning crash in Glenrowan on Wednesday.
Police said it was understood a car crashed into a tree on Glenrowan-Winton Road around 3:45am, killing the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle.
Police are investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.

It’s the second fatal road incident within the Rural City of Wangaratta within a week, following a collision at Bowmans Forest on the Great Alpine Road which claimed the life of an 80-year-old Bowmans Forest man on January 15.
The two deaths have already matched the total fatalities recorded within rural city roads for 2024, according to TAC road safety statistics.
