Davy recently did a tour of Aussie Pumps Gold Distributors in Victoria who represent the Aussie Pump range for the region’s key industries.

Here Davy takes us through his trip and what he learned.

SPENDING time with our dealers on the shop floor and listening to their feedback is an important part of my role here at Aussie.

I was impressed by the professionalism of their teams, the investment in Aussie Pump stock and the pride they took in representing our brand.

First World Gear

Aussie use only first world components in our production.

We make that differentiation point because we know that many in the pump industry source product from third world countries because of price.

Our philosophy is completely different.

We design and produce robust, reliable machines for Australian farmers.

Our chief engineer, John Hales, has a sign in his office that reads, “We design and build machines as if we are going to use them ourselves!”

He comes from a farming family, as do several of our staff here at Aussie Pumps.

That’s why we are so country-oriented and support Victorian Farmers through their regional tabloids.

Pumps that perform

I was also very impressed by the quality of the pump displays in the distributor showrooms.

Aussie has developed great high pressure washers that do well in the dairy industry.

Although we are only 30 years old, we’ve got a huge range of cold water pressure cleaners in electric, Honda petrol and even diesel engine configurations.

We use a fully welded, stainless steel frame as the base for all our cold water pressure cleaners.

The video-based course explains how the machines work, identifies potential hazards and covers basic maintenance checks to keep them in top condition.

This course is open to anyone using a high pressure washer, regardless of the brand being used.
