This year, finalising the Council Plan will be a major focus, shaping our vision and priorities for the years to come.
Strategic planning will also take centre stage, with important projects like the Rural Land Use Review and infrastructure planning for our service towns set to create a robust framework for decision-making.

These initiatives are critical to meeting the evolving needs of our communities and streamlining statutory planning processes to ensure timely and effective outcomes.
We’ll also continue building on our efforts to strengthen community engagement.
Seeking feedback from residents, ensuring everyone has a voice, and working closely with groups like the chambers of commerce will remain key priorities.
Our ongoing Tourism Strategy and other collaborative efforts will also play a vital role in enhancing the vibrancy and prosperity of our region.

The passion and dedication of our team, led by the CEO, have been instrumental in delivering excellent services and programs that make a real difference.
