THE sun was shining and the crowds were out in force, to enjoy take two of the Whittlesea Show, after wet weather postponed the event in late 2022.
Considered one of the oldest and continuous agricultural societies in Victoria, the inaugural show was held in 1869.
A huge two day weekend event facilitated by a dedicated band of volunteers who work throughout the year to create the annual show, the January date change was a huge success.
The event will return to its November 4 and 5 timeslot later in the year meaning double the Whittlesea Show for 2023, which is a great thing.
